Volunteering

Beth Torah Cares

“A man once stood before God, his heart breaking from the pain and injustice in the world. ‘Dear God,’ he cried out, ‘Look at all the suffering, the anguish and distress in your world. Why don’t you send help?’ God responded, ‘I did send help. I sent you.’” – Rabbi David J. Wolpe

Join the Chesed Committee

Beth Torah is committed to tzedakah and Tikkun Olam, and we are always searching for volunteers interested in helping the community around us.

Become a part of a caring community by joining our Chesed Committee! We are always looking for volunteers and welcome your participation. Nothing quite matches the gratification you get from helping others. Please contact us to learn more about joining our Caring Community.

Our caring committee is here to offer its help

We will do our very best to take the pressure off and make your life a little bit easier.  If you need assistance from our volunteer team, call us at 416-782-4495 ex. 1 or email [email protected].

Teenager Volunteer Hours

Is your teenager looking for volunteer hours for high school? We are always in search of reliable, mature, and independent teenage volunteers to assist Beth Torah with events, especially in children’s services / programming. There are few better ways for teenagers to build their Jewish identities than by helping our youngest Jews build theirs!

If you would like to be considered for upcoming events, email Jess at [email protected] for more information.
