New Baby
Mazal Tov on welcoming a new member to your family!
At Beth Torah, we are delighted to encourage young families to participate in all aspects of our community and congregation.
Please let us know when your son or daughter, grandson or granddaughter is born so we can share the great news with our congregation in our printed weekly bulletin.
For your privacy, no surnames will be published in the online version of our bulletin. (You may also let us know if you prefer that no information is made public anywhere.)
Bris
A Bris is the traditional circumcision ceremony on the eighth day of a Jewish boy’s life, welcoming him into the covenant of Judaism. If you would like to schedule a Bris ceremony and celebration at Beth Torah, please email [email protected] or complete our form so we can prepare for your simcha. We will then follow up with you to make arrangements.
Baby Naming
Baby namings at Beth Torah are a great way to welcome a baby girl into both our synagogues and our Jewish community. These are most often conducted during our Saturday morning Shabbat services. If you are interested in booking a baby naming, please email [email protected] to discuss your vision for this special day. You may also start by filling out this form to help us better understand your needs.
Aliyah
We would love to welcome you to the bimah for an Aliyah (Torah honour) in celebration of the newest member of your family. To schedule an Aliyah on an upcoming Shabbat morning, please email our Gabbai, Mark Krantzberg.
