Selichot Service with special guest Imam of Peace

What is Selichot?

Selichot comes from the Hebrew word selicha, meaning forgiveness.

Selichot are special, moving prayers of forgiveness we recite in the days leading up to Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Gathering together late at night, we reflect, sing, and open our hearts as we enter this sacred season.

We warmly invite you to this meaningful service with our special guest speaker, Imam Mohammad Tawhidi, known as The Imam of Peace. Imam is an Iranian-born Islamic scholar, writer, and intellectual recognized for addressing misconceptions about Islam, challenging extremist ideologies, advocating for pluralism, peace, and the rule of law, taking a bold stance against extremism and efforts to promote global peace and interfaith harmony.

Hope you will join us tomorrow evening, Saturday, September 13 @ 8:45pm. A moderated Q&A will take place following his talk and we will end this special evening service with a dessert reception.

This event is completely free, however, registration is required here in order to attend.

Looking forward to seeing you all there!!
